Last year I touched a tree and I turned into a bird. I was a very rare parrot, the alpine parrot.
My feathers were long and they were white and they flashed. My beak was like a woodpeckers’s. It was colourful. My eyes were small as an ant and they were blue. A strange thing I had was that I could teleport and save people from danger. One day a hunter spotted me! When the bullet was half way towards me, my feathers glowed green. The bullet disappeard into a flash. I captured the hunter in a net. In the morning, I told my friends that I was Matthew. Leander adopted me. In the evening, I met two friends that turned into birds as well: Neil and Jamie.
I made friends wilth Warren the eagle and Jethro the elephant bird. It was a great adventure but it ended in 2 weeks. I would like to turn into a bird one day.
I usually get up at seven o’clock. My cute cat wakes me up. I get up feeling really happy. First I dress up. It is very important to keep ourselves clean and tidy. I eat cereal and drink some fresh milk. Breakfast is important because it gives us energy. Finally, I am ready to go to school to meet my friends. I feel happy in the morning. I feel relaxed. Then, it’s time to leave home and go to school.
A week ago, I was sleeping. Then I dreamed about a bird. It was a parrot. Next, when I woke up to wash my face, I looked into the mirror and I didn’t see myself. I saw a bird. The name of the bird was a parrot. The dream came true.
I had long feathers, a small beak and small eyes. The colour of the eyes was blue. I was over the moon with joy. I went to see my human friends. I saw them talking and then I walked towards them and I realised that they were looking for their friend Neil. I was happy because they were talking about me.
I made a lot of friends but my legs were turning into a pair of person’s feet. I told my new friends the pigeon, the owl, the eagle and the robin that I had to go. I was running faster than the wind. I was back home at last and I turned into a person. It was a great adventure.
