Coming to an end …

I can’t believe that this year is already over.  I can still remember my first post for you telling you about what Year 4 will be about.  I feel that this was a great year for all of us.  Thanks for the wonderful times we spent together.   I also hope that you have enjoyed watching the DVD’s which I have given you last week.  I’m sure that you will appreciate them even more when you grow older.  I was proud to be your teacher.  

 

Thanks also for the card which you have given me yesterday.  I loved reading your comments.  I will never forget you 🙂

A special thanks goes to you, parents, for your cooperation this year and to our LSA, Ms. Maria, who have helped us a lot throughout the year.  I’m sure that this will be a year to remember, Ms. Maria 🙂

Illum festa nazzjonali.. is-Sette Giugno

Fis-7 ta’ Ġunju, 1919, imfakkar fil-kalendarju Malti bħala s-Sette Giugno, il-Maltin irrealizzaw kemm huwa mportanti li temmen fl-identita’ tagħna bħala Maltin.   F’dan il-jum, il-Maltin iġġieldu kontra l-Ingliżi.  Is- suldati Ingliżi sparaw lin-nies u mietu erba’ Maltin: Ġużeppi Bajjada, Manwel Attard, Wenzu Dyer u Karmenu Abela.

Sa Ġunju tal-2010, kien hemm monument fi Pjazza San Ġorġ li jfakkar lil dawn l-erba’ Maltin. Illum, dan il-monument jinsab ġo ġonna ta’ Hastings fil-Belt Valletta stess.

Eżamijiet Annwali

Din hija t-timetable ta’ kif ser ikunu mqassmin l-eżamjiet annwali.  Nhar it-Tnejn ser nagħti timetable ta’ studju lit-tfal, bħalma kont tajthom għall-eżamijiet ta’ nofs is-sena.  Din għandhom jimxu magħha ħalli jqassmu x-xogħol u ma jħallux kollox għall-aħħar, filwaqt li jkunu ċerti li rrevedu t-topiks kollha.

Small Changes – Show and Tell Dates

Due to the rehearsals and activities we have at school during this time, I had to do some small changes re. the Show and Tell dates.

Neil – Tuesday 24th, instead of Thursday 19th  

Nigen & Kelsey P – no change – Wednesday 25th, as planned  

Matthew & Shaun – Monday 30th, instead of  Thursday 26th

Aylon & Kylie – Wednesday 2nd, instead of Monday 30th.  

On Thursday, we will then start the English Show and Tells, starting from Kelsey A and Jethro.
